Of course the media is focused more on the riots. They'd rather watch the city burn if it made the headlines. This shouldn't be surprising.
But should the media not be reporting on the violence and looting? It wasn't dozens, it was hundreds of people. How is minimizing this helping any cause?
What's fucked is innocent people have no means to protect themselves, their families or their businesses if need be. Buildings are burning, people being assaulted... anything goes.
This is going to be a wild summer if this rioting and looting gets brushed aside as just a few bad apples.
