The robots form was intentionally rudementary to emphasize that it's OS possesed inherently human personality characteristics.
It's a commentary on traditional depictions of sci-fi robots, like the one below that are inherently human in form - yet it's personality take on the form of a rudimentary OS.

- minimal is fine. Dumb isn't. in fact, I'd argue it's not minimal. The minimalism is diminished by how lumbering and ridiculously awkward it is.dopepope
