Background:
Been freelancing with a little agency for a few months and they offered me a full-time gig. I politely declined but I've continued working on projects.New Situation:
They recently asked for me to attend a photoshoot for team photos that will go on their website. I was able to get out of it due to prior obligations but they've asked again. I tried explaining, with as much tact as possible, that the nature of our agreement means I may come and go depending upon my availability and their needs. I don't to give wrong impression to my and their future clients about who I am (independent consultant) and where I work (for myself). The projects are OK and the money is good so I'd like to continue working with them but I don't like that they are thinking and treating me as a full-time employee.I dunno...maybe its not such a bad problem?

- I'm in a similar situation. Company I freelance for (for years) every so often asks me to so some unbillable thing as if I was a full-timer.iCanHazQBN
- I never do it. Stand your ground. Keep reminding them what your role is.iCanHazQBN
