A. Yes, everyday I am thankful.
I lived in SF while working in a god damned box for a god damned corporation surrounded by weasels and suck asses for over 20 years, now I live by the beach in Mehico where I pay 1/5th the rent to what my mortgage was in SF where I don't even lock anything anymore, in our community you just hear the sounds of children playing during the day and waves crashing at night, I surf empty lineups when I choose. And when there IS someone else in the lineup, its either someone I know, or some 'in awe' tourist thats super thankful to be out of his shitty routine for a short bit and his company is very pleasurable. As of now, stateside freelance work is steady, the US dollar is the highest its been since Ive moved here in '07 compared to the MX peso. Kind of hoping work slows down a bit so I can finally get my food truck underway (because our economy is set to crash, but mother fuckers will still need to eat) but being too busy for that is a good problem to have.
I thank my lucky stars every motha-fucking day
