I found a few old record and stylus catalogues along
with inserts inside some of my album finds this week along
with some nice singles, nothing really rare but some are hard to findeven though it was only 50p I nearly put this back in the
box until just by chance I read the production credit to A Wizard
- A True Star which I can only assume is Todd Rundgren
although the music doesn't sound like the sort of thing he'd
normally doI love these old advertising leaflets, this one is for the
Shure Stylus from 1974two old TV shows on one 7" The Sky At Night theme
brought back memories even though it's not exactly all that catchyI found this in a box of singles I won at an auction -
it was full of Roy Orbison and Karl Denver records
but for a winning bid of £3 the lot I was more pleased
to find this private press folk 7" from 1970 than the othersjust some of the useful gadgets available circa 1972
thanks to the British Radio CorporationI found one of these catalogues a while ago but not in as
good a condition as this one, a showcase of just some of
the great early 70's rock and jazz available on Probe Records,
musicassette and 8-track
