    I just realized something brother. I thought that lens you bought yesterday was the Mark I version of the Canon 24-70 f/2.8L

    That is the lens that every pro has, that is the lens that everyone wishes they owned. What you bought is the f/4 version with IS. Which is great and all but it's practically the same as the 24-105 f/4L minus the extra focal range. I'm sure you will enjoy it but it is not the f/2.8 that one will be an extra 1000k.
