I am surprised how many people get so emotional or angry with the idea of Feminism and what it stands for.
I thought those of us in the western world were beyond the need to control or have power over a woman. I guess this is the thread that highlights our links to ISIS and such where they believe women should not have the same equal rights and such as us men.
Like Oey said "What are you scared of?" I just don't understand why people would be against helping others as if women are some for of THEM to our US.
- Also don't mean to suggest all men in the east think like ISIS etc. Sorry, more that its more common than the west, well...supposed to be.sem
- well, supposed to be more common there but starting to think not as much as I'd like.sem
- By like I mean I would like to think we're a little more educated than countries with such limited access to educational materials.sem
- What on earth are you talking about? Who here has said they don't want absolute equality?set
