    also, for me this show, which i just binged through the full 4 seasons the last month or so, is much more than it's sometimes weak attempt good storytelling, good acting, continuity, special effects, or any of the other typical go-to's critics love to hate shows/films for.

    i'm not looking for an artistic expression of a post-apocolyptic world, i'm not looking for canne-award acting (or over the top, big hwood celeb, samuel l jackson style acting either). i just wanted a show that took a theme, in this case zombies, and took it's sweet time exploring it. i don't care about becoming attached to the characters or any of that (though i did like hershel) - i'm enjoying the mostly no-named cast and writers half-supposing what might happen if there was an outbreak. and on that end, i personally think that it's been done pretty well.
