fadein11.. you need whats called a ground loop isolator..
they are designed for car stereos but they work perfectly fine for the problem you are describing..you can usually get them off ebay for about 15 bucks.
another thing to make sure is the that the monitors and the computer/audio interface are NOT on the same powerpoint/power board..
try the powerboard first.. but you will probably still hear a bit..
groundloop isolators look like this generally..
- i have 2 .. one between my mixer and my audio interface.. and one between my imac and the mixer..
autoflavour - i think.. it was a while ago i set it all up.. but yep, these 2 things will resolve 90% of the soundautoflavour
