    Wrocław, Poland. Fairly large city with pre-WW2 German/Czech heritage (this translates as "some architectural gems of 20's modernism").

    An equally short train/bus ride from either Prague or Berlin, or a direct Ryanair flight from Milan. You could fly there, then head down south to Prague.
    Fun city and not half as polluted with Brit stag parties as Kraków :)

    I visit there often, can recommend most convenient parts of the city for accommodation and places to see. If I happen to be there, this means QBN drinks!
