It is pretty incredible. Mind boggling, really.
What's even more amusing is the way Apple doesn't really make anything new, yet gets credit for everything (and free publicity). Then they take the tools and make them much more refined, which feels "new".
Android, and PC makers for that matter, continue to release random items. It seems like they all have ADD - focus is on one thing, once, then it never gets refined. Why??
Apple wins because they refine. It's a great lesson, imho, and why the rest can't recognize it is beyond me. Make something quality and you don't have to remake it every 2 months.
I am still hopefull Android L will be great. iOS7, imho, is boring as hell. It works, its fine, but generic as possible. Again, Apple was lazy on design, but spent the time on the refinement.
Apple's hardware, though, continues to up the ante. If HTC could just keep refining their handsets, or even Moto X, I'd jump ship.
Ironically, the only feature I care about, is an actual Apple innovation - slow motion video. Why can't someone copy that?!?!

- People use one android device and lump them all together like it's one brand. There are very nice android handsets out there.set
- I didn't like the 5's but I have to admit from a materialist point of view the iphone 6 is desirableset
- Build quality. Yeah, there are good ones, but I want "great". No reason they can't just refine more.formed
- I could never go from latest android to ios7 though, it's literally terrible in comparison. Hopefully they come good with 8set
- the Surface is the only thing that really is getting refined, which is why I want oneformed
- HTC One, Sony Xperia Z range, LG G3, all *great* hardware. Far nicer than the iphone 5 imo.set
