    Naomi Elishuv was a violinist in the Lithuanian National Symphony Orchestra. Twenty years ago, she was diagnosed with essential tremor and was forced to stop playing. On Tuesday, September 9th, 2014, Elishuv was operated on at the Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center by Prof. Itzhak Fried head of functional neurosurgery unit and Dr. Ido Strauss staff neurosurgeon at the Neurosurgery department, to suppress her tremor symptoms, and while the surgery was being performed, she returned to playing the violin without disturbance. “It’s a shame that I only heard about the surgery recently. I am now finally returning to life,”
