Based on Yosemite so far, as well as what I've seen for ios8 software I cleaning up quite nicely; yes the settings iocn is a bit of a over refined shit show, but the core is quick & clean.
Hardware-wise a few more mobile options as well as the much fabled wearable have generated just the right amount of hype and speculation pre show.
Exciting.
