and then what? The problem is the entire region is just a big vacuum now. Nothing can hold anything stable, destroy and kill, and something will sooner or later fill the void. With so much hatred and perverse beliefs, there never will be a peaceful situation.
You'd have to eliminate the entire region - Saudi Arabia, Israel, etc., etc. I am sure much of the world would love that, but it isn't possible. Might as well get rid of the "axis of evil" while you are at it. That approach sure brought about a lot of success.
Nuking will destroy the oil. Nothing is more important than that!
