  How much money does the client owe?

  Small claims court exists for the lay person to argue their case, so it can be a good avenue for you to recoup money, but it's going to take some work (getting a judgement in your favour, then enforcing the judgement). You'll have to weigh out how much trouble it's worth to you.

  • $1500 bucks is a lot. Small claims court is for stuff just like that. I dont believe in suing everyone but sometimes people suck and need to be taught a lesson.lemmy_k
