urgh.. so on friday afternoon i get a call if i could do a quick video edit job over the weekend with a monday deadline. They client has helped me heaps so i was like, sure.. also money is good.
finally saturday i get the links to the data.. not only was it like 40gig of shit to download from dropbox, it is ALL FUCKING GO PRO FOOTAGE.
like 3 hours of it, which they want cut down to 1:30..
and the footage is either locked off static position mostly at the back of the stage looking out over the band and audience, or its vomit inducing motion sickness from where they have decided to attach the camera to various instruments and drums during the concerts.
i spent literally the first day just downloading that shit..
and then yesterday trying my hardest not to pass out from having to skim thru a 30 minute video film from the top of a tuba while the player is dancing around on stage.. so much motion, much sicknessnot to mention its all super shitty quality as its just go pro and there is little to now thought been put into placement or framing.
they gave me like 18 or so video files .. and that is it.
