hah sorry thats a bit too complicated to explain in notes...
i'm making some assumptions... the hum is a ground loop issue/ not some weird hardware issue... could be because your s/c runs from USB bus but could also be that none of your gear is grounded in the first place (happens more often than you think)
common way to fix this is to use a transformer to lift the ground from the signal (ground loop eliminator) but as it's your own studio you should try and remove it from the power (quick way to test is by disconnecting the ground from whats causing the hum, as suggested above) using a RFI filtered plug/ fourway would work too.
