    I really loved the fact that he was a total funny guy and out of control but had the versatility to do darker non comedy roles like One Hour Photo and Insomnia. In fact I seem to reference him often lately when talking with friends about who should be in the next season of True Detective. See, I'd love to see someone like Jim Carrey in it, because you don't expect something non-comedic out of him. So I always reference those two Robin Williams movies as being great dark roles you don't expect.

    Sad story.
