I'd wear an athletic one, that Samsung is getting closer (the athletic one). BUT I would not want to have to rely on a phone, nor would I every make calls, etc.
I don't work out w/ a phone and can't understand how, or why, people bother. Kinda like I'll never understand someone wearing Beats headphones, especially in public. And while we're at it, what's up w/ people still growing stupid long beards, tight jeans and retro socks?! Stop. Stop all of it. Please.
Anything that resembles a calculator watch, which I fondly remember coveting, will always look like a geeky toy for kids. Also, anything that tries to replace a 'real' watch is a failure, imho.
