while I applaud his efforts he seems out of touch w/ that quote.
when I was in high school, late 80s and 90s, we were punk kids b/c skating was actually a crime in my city, we smuggled boards into school, skated halls, listened to the cramps, suicidal, rave choons etc.
now watch any street league or x-games, waltz into any high end skate shop, and you will realize it has become a high-end lifestyle for kids now. it has exploded, cash waterfalls everywhere. which is great. diamond life fo real.

- nowadays there is an actual skatepark built in the corner of my high school. irony. kids have it easy.prophetone
- suspended if found with board at school, in locker, confiscated, etc... kids have no idea lolprophetone
- last time I was at that park, overheard snotty group of kids whining about how this park blowsprophetone
- all I could think was you have no f*cking clue what a whiny little spoiled shit you sound like right nowprophetone
- so I cranked some suicidal tendencies started to roar and no comply'd over their whiny asses ah yeeeahhprophetone
