  I like several of their shows, like This American Life, Fresh Air, and Radiolab. The Moth is frequently really good, and really funny. But several of their shows are pretty dreadful. Like Wait Wait Don't Tell Me. I think that's awful.

  I think the Diane Rhem show is just another left/right adversary show. Yeah, the people are civilized, but there doesn't really seem to be an effort to look at anything but the opposing points of view--even when one point of view is crazy or not credible.

  • i love Wait Wait. But i usually listen to podcasts and since it's topical, it becomes outdated quite quicklylocustsloth
  • Tom Ashbrook of On Point is probably the most even handed and fair host i've ever heard on a talk showlocustsloth
