imo that is not a good trade off. you should be looking at the xt-1 not the x-e1 or x-e2.
Now another thing is you are going from Full Frame to cropped sensors.
The IQ of the XT-1 I believe is better than the 5DMK2 and at par with the 5DMK3.
You will have other issues to consider though like, a Huge loss in battery life and a small selection of quality lenses at high price!
when you say portability do you mean it's too heavy or too bulky for packing? what lens are you walking around with?
I am looking for a used 5dmk2 right now so let me know if you still decicde to sell.
