I was flipping through stuff on my Apple TV tonight and my wife and I actually started watching the event from this week. I didn't think she'd be all that interested, but we ended up getting in a 45 minute conversation about how the browser results will return content from wiki, which lead to a conversation about SEO, which lead to an SEO crash course using her company's site as an example, which lead to me shaking me head saying "why the fuck are they using meta keywords? why is the title tag nearly 180 characters long? why is the description 5x longer than it should be? why do you have two different urls that both serve the exact same content?"
Needless to say it's fun to sometimes have her be interested in my nerdy side. :)
- Seems to me that many people are interested in how search engines work. Just rarely get to ask those that know.BabySnakes
