If its a lot you may have to divide up the entourage mailbox into smaller folders, export each one and import seperatly into another account. For instance, divide up your inbox into years or 6 month increments and export each one of those, do the same for sent mails etc.
Had to do this when moving about 14k mails from entourage to mail, and it worked fine... eventually.
