The tips in the US are just ridiculous. An entire industry expects you to pay waiters instead of the boss paying his employees. I agree with tipping WHEN I liked the service as a "thank you, I liked your service, here's a little extra for being a nice person". I can't understand the obligatory tip.
Why the fuck should I pay more for you to do your job?- it's just culture, and your outrage is how we feel about people not tipping outside the USmonospaced
- also, it almost guarantees good service, and when you leave a small or no tip, it's a clear messagemonospaced
