nah, portland's got a decent enough sub that i use because it's the best up-to-the-minute news source for pdx strangely enough. (r/portland). a couple photography threads i check out, and then keep on top of some specific music genres like r/postrock for obscure shit i may want to see.
the r/occupywallstreet sub is good if you want to consistently feel dismayed by the amount of corruption going on in the world. the larger political threads get too frustrating.
the ELI5 stuff is great for just, random achievements in wonderment. i'm a pretty light user though.
