They guy is a dumbass, no doubt.
But regardless of how at fault and stupid he is, man, i cannot imagine being him at that moment where he realized that he shot his nephew; his brother or sister's kid. In front of his son, no less. Holy shit i think i'd want to fucking off myself. There's no back to normal after that. That incident, in that family's life is like the B.C./A.D. line; there is only before the shooting and after the shooting when thinking about that family's history from now on.
