  Hes representing a league. When youre a public figure like that and make the league look bad, they're probably gonna want you out, which they are allowed to do.

  Even though he was home and on a private conversation, he said something that embarrassed the league. Its not that different than if you say something inappropriate at your job. You can think what you want and are allowed to be racist but you cant say whatever you want without some consequences.
