I've been trying to get this tooth pulled now for over TWO months... the dentist has been on board / ready-to-go for some time but we can't move forward w/out my Cardiologist and Primary Care Doc signing off. $450 later (just office visit costs) I've been given approval to finally get my dental procedure...
Thing is I've also been trying to re-join this cardio/rehab gym for the last month. Because of my heart condition I like the idea of being at a Gym that is staffed by Cardio specialists (and there are a bunch of cardiologists / doctors in the building too just in case). Just got off the phone with the Gym— my Cardiologist needs to see me first (again)... damnit. Simply to scrape another $200+ off me for a FIVE MINUTE appointment where the Doc puts his little device to my chest and listens to my heart beat maybe 5 times then tells me I'm good-to-go.
I could join a cheap gym w/out anyone knowing the difference... but I want to goto a place where I'm willing to pay more for the 'supervision' but in order to attend I have to pay to get approval from a Doctor... such a headache.
- you need to make friends with a doc so you don't always have to make an apptmonospaced
- not sure how I'd get around them not charging me though... 'friend' or notPonyBoy
- zero compassion for people who live in uncivilized countries with no free healthcaredrgs
