Got around to watching Pacific Rim.
Could not believe how bad the dialogue, acting and script was. The delivery of the lines and pacing of the edit was all TV-soap opera and hammy. SO bad, so predictable.... just wow. And the framing and blocking of the scenes... mind bogglingly awful.
There were a few amazing moments, like the little girl being chased, or the punch into the office building. But all these films have enough budget to have good bits... Star Wars ep.1 had Darth Maul ffs. Good bits ≠ good film.
