Doesn't one simply exhibit their own cultural and social ignorance by loudly proclaiming they don't value the knowledge of the passing of someone they're not familiar with?
I appreciate that the fields of programming and design have a higher percentage of high-functionaing autistic-types than normal society, but damn, guys — you don't need to go off the deep end to prove it.
