Speculation below.
*Major book spoilers. Don't read.
Going to be a bittersweet ending. Everyone who wants the throne won't get it. Sansa has no motive, and has been a pawn for so long that she will eventually end up on the throne without even trying. This will be achieved by various means through her still living family. Bran, (undead)Jon, and Arya will all play a part in eliminating threats that stand in her way. Littlefinger will take it just far enough that puts her in contest for the throne, but will meet demise before it pays off for him. With the wheels in motion, she will be propelled to the throne because the people will love her. Danyrus will come close but will meet demise at the hands of Arya, who will be a fully fledged assassin. Danyrus will have pissed off enough people by the end game that the faceless God will give her name to Arya. The Lannisters will be eventually be unseated by a siege, organized by Danyrus. THis will be short lived because the houses of Westeros will have alliegence to Sansa by then.Fuck it, I know is far fetched, but that's half the fun.
