Wacom tablet - Pen pressure issues

    I don't have those issues using an I-5. Perhaps buy a new Intuos 5 (or borrow one). See if that is having the same issues. If the same issue occurs, then return it, then you'll know it's probably not hardware-related.

    Maybe try uninstalling Photoshop and re-installing as well.

    Changing the pen nib. Even if you did it once, try again with a new nib.

    Disconnect Wacom from PC and install anything related to it, then reinstall all of that again. Again, making sure it's disconnected the entire time. When all that's done and done, then reconnect the Wacom.

    Perhaps try going to an EARLIER version of the Wacom driver.

    And finally, make sure it's set up to accept pen pressure (Brush > Shape Dynamics > Pen Pressure) and all of those other pressure sensitivity options.
