  ^ Not necessarily, but... I suppose if you watch someone melt beneath the spotlight it's hard not to be intrigued by the final curtain? And it's interesting (not to mention slightly sociopathic) to mull over whether or not the spotlight, and we, by extension as consumers of what the spotlight illuminated, hastened that death... We are still savages, who kill for pleasure, perhaps?
