    the ship i've been sailing on for 8.5 years has slowly been sinking, and i finally got laid off today. it's down to just the creative director and senior art director now.

    time to regroup, enjoy a bottle of champagne, and start planning my next hustle. i've got a few leads, some solid savings and a fistful of various talents that will keep me going.

    • yeah, i've been feeling kind of trapped by the money and comfort there... i'm not getting the kind of projects i want anymore and think it's time to try some other things... there's a finishing job i wanna take a shot at which will teach me some tricks that will help me as an art director down the road... for now i'm going to enjoy a bit of travel and finish up some side projects :)scarabin
