If Ableton Live scares you then Bitwig will too as it's much the same thing.

I'd describe my first sessions with Ableton Live much like my first experiences with Adobe Flash. There's a bit of a steep initial learning curve then something just suddenly clicks and you get it.
If you know anyone that uses Ableton Live then see if they'll give you a quick rundown of stuff or sit and work on a quick song together to see how stuff it done. Your local music store might be able to help you get started too. And there's a wealth of tutorials on YouTube and Dubspot is worth a look too.

If EDM fuckwits can get the hang of Ableton Live then I'm sure you can too ;)

    • thanks - I decided to go with Logic Pro X - giving that a go - good value and loving it so far.fadein11
