I've had an S2 and S4. I really liked both, especially with a fat after market battery (I find them too thin otherwise) but I think my next upgrade will probably be whoever makes the Nexus next.

After playing with a Nexus 5 (LG?) and recently getting a 2012 Nexus 7 (Asus) I've gotta say the bang-for-your-buck is just excellent. I'm mainly using non-native text and calls so I'll probably cut my hefty £30/mo contract and buy a Nexus outright with a bare minimum SIM-only contract.

Not really impressed by this, but I haven't really been super impressed by any phones without holding them and using them. I was skeptical about the Nexus 5 as my last LG was a shitty LG Chocolate and now I'd swap for one in a heartbeat though.

    • The fact I could buy a phone outright and save on over-priced monthly fees was the reason I stumped for the N5detritus
    • The thought of paying either £600 up front or £40+ a month for a phone seems pretty stupid to me.detritus
