Luck. The "secret" is luck. Most people will tell you that it is all "hard work" or "perseverance", but the one commonality between successful people is that they had that little bit of "luck" that was a catalyst to another level.
The proof is how many work their asses off with great talent and get nowhere, and how many reach great success while having little work ethic or talent."Luck favors the well prepared" (or "chance favors the prepared mind")
It may only be a small percentage of the puzzle, but it is the common piece.
The trick is to figure out how to create more chances for "luck" to land in your favor.
