Sadly Ben suffers from a condition known as myo-opticanimosis which causes transmissions in the central retinal artery to flux at an astandard rate, meaning he can't see animation as fluid at the standard <50hz frequency that most humans are able to interpret.
Basically, his 'refresh rate' differs to other people, so animation and television appear as smears to him and conversely, any animation he might try and create would appear as a smear to other humans.
Poor bastard.
