^Every single form of electronic currency is susceptible to theft, the fact that dogecoin was stolen just shows that thieves see it as valuable. Silliest currency to ever take hold, but I simply see it as a new way of thinking about currencies as a whole.
Accounting for as many variables as possible, take your opinion of popular culture currencies to it's natural conclusion. Take the next most likely one to it's conclusion, and so on.
Look at this in terms of the maximum possible number of different encrypted currencies, you choose how you want to diversify investments across the market. No currency is 100%, silly basis or not. I don't think dogecoin is the new currency by any standard, but instead points to a new direction.
I can't wait to see what the next creative collaboration will be. Who knows, it might even come from Qboners.
