    I know that nobody here needs a lecture, and certainly I don't want to be insensitive to Juan Luis Garcia.

    But, please, everyone who browses this thread: let this be another in the long list of reminders to you that you should NEVER, EVER TAKE SPEC WORK.

    Again, I'm not trying to blame the victim. We've all been tempted and most of us have done spec work at least once. There's always that situation where you think, "Well, this goes against my principles... but... it's..." and then some excuse and sometimes it feels like it's worth the risk.

    But it's so sad to see this happening to designers and artists over and over again. Everyone must stop doing spec work.

    Fuck Spike Lee, and fuck his shitty remake of a great film.
