I just ran out of the Vetiver from L'Occitane and spent the last couple nights reading about all sorts of cologne I knew I'd like, thinking about ordering samples, etc, etc, but in the end, went with something tried and true that I'd not worn in a while. It's posted a few times in this thread:

It makes me think of so many things - an old cabin, apple cider, being warm in the winter, walking in the woods, wool blankets, sitting by a fire. If you have a store near you you should really check it out. The scent lasts all day long - it's strong, but not overpowering.
