    I went with WDTV Live. The UI and remote as nice (or responsive) as Apple TV's, and I had to cobble together a quick workaround to get streaming from my iMac working (WDTV and Snow Lion don't play nice), but it was cheaper and I don't have to worry about file formats or third party apps to make them work.
