@ Georges: great post on Nov 12th, wasn't sure if I should keep watching as it progressed, he kept banging out so much information in rapid-fire mode.

For your consideration, say that there are dirigibles of modern design, and that they do possess some form of camouflage. When activated, enveloping the craft from one side to the other, the projected image begins to cause a lensing effect, distorting the image as to make it appear to shrink and move rapidly along the skin of the aircraft. To the ground observer it could look just like the previously slow moving ship suddenly burst into extremely high speed travel in a streak and then vanish. The eyes would possibly and quite naturally see it travel further than it actually had, given the expectation based on what the observer knows about solid objects and their mass, and the time it should take to achieve said velocity. In this way the phenomenon could be entirely explainable.

    or not :D

    • yeah and this is only the tip, if you listen carefully to his presentation, you'll see that they are starting to put to test some of the models he talked aboutGeorgesIV
    • the planes he talked aboutGeorgesIV
    • He tied everything together very well, although he could have separated the seminar and interviews into two vidsZOOP
