    ^^ Bitcoin is currency, just like Euros and Dollars, except it's digital and free from legislations and countries. You can't really make money with bitcoin at this point unless you have a lot to invest, and you won't be able to make much money with it in the future when it will stabilize. The people that are making money with it at the moment, is because it's still new and hasn't settled on a regular value, so If you have Bitcoins, they will probably be worth more in the future (or not) when it's value stops being so volatile and becomes somewhat standard (i.e. 1 Euro = 1.35 Dollars ) until that time, it's value will be much like shares like you said, so you can buy low and sell high.
