^ There are some big differences.
Cows, pigs chickens etc are grown for food, and the whole animal is pretty much used up. Whether you agree with that or not is a somewhat separate issue.
Cutting the horn off a living animal - and often killing it because that's easier - for nothing more than a few mythical and unproven uses is seriously fucked up.
