All you chumps talking about San Diego have clearly never driven north. San Diego is nice, but it's fucking hot. Santa Barbara, on the other hand, is almost literally perfect weather year-round. Makes Los Angeles and anything south of it pale in comparison, weather-wise. Santa Barbara weather is a achieved via geography. The mountain range flanks the city from the north, east and south, while the Channel Islands keep weather systems from impacting from the west. The result is a perfect pocket of coast, protected on all sides. Conclusion: best weather on the planet: Santa Barbara.
