I got an HR bod for my first round interviewer for a job and it hadn't gone well at all, she spent nearly the whole interview staring at a clip board, zero personal connection. Close to the end of the interview (come to think of it, the proximity to the end of the interviewer might have had something to do with my answer), after a raft of dull box ticking questions, none of which had anything to do with creative; she hit me with the classic cliché:
'Give me five words your friends might use to describe you'
I kind of snapped and calmly replied 'Doesn't. Like. Ridiculous. Pointless. Questions.' I counted out the words on my fingers too - what a prick! I admit that was a shitty answer but I kind of knew I wasn't getting through the HR firewall on that occasion.
She just nervously laughed and pretty quickly got to the 'Thanks for coming we'll be in touch'
