I like SF, I've spent best years of my life there and for someone from the other side of the world SF is the closest equivalent of a european city in the states.
BUT
I hate this cocky, snobby view that SF people has. Just like all big cities SF has a lot of negative points where LA thrives. But "oh no" you can never ever never say that.
So yes, be cool SF or shut up.
