I guess it's not surprising that Burke is viewed as the father of conservatism. He has this kind of simplistic view of the world that sounds like it comes from a Batman movie.
Anyway its not even true. One side could win or lose regardless of what the other side does. An asteroid could fall out the sky and hit "evil" while the good man sits around doing nothing.
